This is like my version of Good Reads.
Check back for new book reviews and books I've added to my never-ending "To Read" list!

 A Wrinkle in Time

This was a spur of the moment book choice for me. Our family was at Amazon Books - their only physical location - and I saw that they had a version of the book for Jordan's grade level. So, I grabbed a copy for her, and the original version for me.
This book really is for younger readers... maybe 5th-6th grade? I really got a Christian vibe from it, which I wasn't expecting. The three "Mrs." characters were leading the kids and the villain was a darkness that promised to take all your worries away if you gave control of your life to it.
Overall, it was okay. I like that there's a movie to accompany it now. I enjoyed reading it with Jordan, and then watching the movie with her. She said the movie was sadder than her book; which was kind of cute, only because I love that she was able to compare the two.
